Electronic Technician – Testing, Soldering and Development Support

Role Description
Nuclear Instruments is seeking an Electronic Technician to join our testing and development team. The selected candidate will work closely with the engineering team to test, validate, and enhance the performance of our electronic devices, carrying out lab work, soldering, debugging, and testing.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform functional tests and analysis on electronic circuits
- Solder SMD and PTH electronic components
- Collaborate with the technical team to identify and solve hardware/software issues
- Use laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generators)
- Support the development team with prototyping, testing, and technical documentation
- Read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics
- Use electronic CAD software to view/modify layouts and schematics
- Program and test basic firmware on microcontroller or FPGA platforms
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma in Electronics or Electrotechnics (or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Hands-on experience with soldering
- Experience with electronic lab instruments
- Ability to work in a team and manage tasks independently
- Problem-solving mindset and practical approach to technical challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Arduino or similar platforms
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (C/C++ and/or Python)
- Italian as a native language
- Previous experience in testing or validation of electronic devices
